The 2022 Triumph Street Triple S 660 LAMS is a premium, learner-approved naked bike designed specifically for the Australian and European entry-level markets. It retains the aggressive styling and high-quality chassis of the larger Triumph Street Triple range while utilizing a restricted 660cc triple engine to comply with Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) regulations.

Engine & Performance

Engine Type: 660cc, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder.
Power Output: Produces a peak power of 39.7kW (approx. 54 PS) at 11,250 rpm.
Torque: Delivers 61 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, offering strong low-to-mid-range responsiveness.
Transmission: 6-speed manual gearbox with a wet, multi-plate assist and slip clutch for easier gear changes.

Sound: Features a 3-into-1 stainless steel exhaust system that maintains the signature Triumph triple "roar".

Chassis & Handling

Weight: Lightweight aluminium twin-spar frame with a dry weight of 168kg, making it highly agile.
Suspension: Equipped with Showa 41mm upside-down separate function forks (110mm travel) and a preload-adjustable Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock (124mm travel).

Braking: Features twin 310mm floating front discs with Nissin 2-piston sliding calipers and a single 220mm rear disc with a Brembo caliper; ABS is standard.
Tyres: Comes factory-fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres for consistent all-weather grip.

Riding Modes: Includes two selectable modes—Road and Rain—which adjust throttle response and traction control settings.

Instrumentation: Uses an LCD multi-functional instrument pack with a digital speedometer.

Lighting: Updated with twin LED headlights for improved visibility and a sharper, modern look.
